Capturing Stock Images

Today we split into groups to take stock images with DSLR’s (Canon 350) .

We wondered around uni (inside and out) looking for perfect places to take clear shots with a clear background and good lighting . I have learnt that stock images don’t need to be artistic but have got to be suitable for editing, hence why a clear background is crutial.

There wasn’t allowed to be any shadows or anything to interfere with the main object, the focus just had to be on the person/object.

I chose this one as i thought that the person (me) was clearly outlined so when editing it would be easy plus the lighting is rather good.

The lighting is good and I liked the ‘fun’ pose.

I liked the lighting and I think it will be easy too edit and it’s a ‘humorous’ pose.
